Very cool and comfortable rooms with huge beds. I loved the extra seating area in the room and the lush blanket on the bed (I'm always cold!).
Since we were up for my daughter's birthday, I treated us to the chocolate strawberries in the room and they did not disappoint - so flavourful and they even wrote a birthday message for her on the platter. Nice little touches make all the difference!
Arrived slightly early so concierge took our bags while we ventured out for a bite to eat. Everything was in the room when we came back and check in was a breeze.
We didn't really use any facilities but also because the location is fantastic, we had so much to do.
When it was raining in the morning, the concierge took our bags (at check out) got us umbrellas and made sure we had everything we needed.
Also, small details but the minibar is one of the better ones I have seen, even if we did only do waters and coffee! They even give real milk instead of that god-awful fake powder for coffee.
Nothing - it really was great in every way. If maybe one thing is that room service is a bit ridiculously priced so we ordered on deliveroo if we wanted a late night bite.

Great location in a beautiful building
Did not get a good night’s sleep. Lots of noise from the street and the walls are thin between the rooms. Air con wasn’t working 100%.
Very surly member of bar staff on who was unfriendly and more concerned about finishing his shift on time than providing a service to the guests.

The vibe of this hotel was amazing! It was certainly a step up from most other hotels I've stayed in. Felt very unique with an amazing attention to detail. The room was luxurios, the staff throughout were so friendly and helpful.
We parked about 5 minutes away. I was worried about leaving my car overnight. I needed to access the car to go to an event in the evening and wasn't sure if valet parking meant paying the fee each entry/exit. the check in team said it is per stay. Now i understand that i would 100% park at the hotel next time.

the concierge staff (we paid for valet parking) are always excellent, staff generally very pleasant and location is perfect for us
the rooms are starting to feel a little tired and not as clean as they used to be. when returning to the room late in evening discovered mini bar fridge wasnt working so only had warm water/drinks and in the morning the milk for tea/coffee was sour as a result. this it turned out didnt matter anyway as the coffee machine was broken ... I didnt see the bill but last time the hotel added a staff service charge which is wrong in my view. we paid a service charge in the bar and, we always tip the concierge and its embarrassing to ask them to remove this (if they still do this although I dont know, I was told bill would be emailed but wasnt). It is a shame that the standards seem to have slipped recently as we always enjoyed staying there and never considered anywhere else when in Manchester

Wonderful
The room was very nice and spacious. Breakfast was great.
The sink and toilet got blocked very easily. Also, the dispensers in the shower are difficult because they are set to only give a small amount of liquid. I think for a hotel like Gotham this is unnecessary. This type of thing can be frustrating and shouldn't be something i need to complain about when everything else is luxurious and rated as 9 or 10.
