Loved the novelty of the hotel. The bar area was relaxing and the room was well kept and a comfortable size. Shower was lovely too. Luggage hold available.
There was a stain that looked like spilled red wine on the carpet. The lights came on and off during the night without being operated, very strange. We called reception twice in the morning with a query and noone answered.

The room was clean and spacious with a large bathroom. Staff were friendly and Breakfast was exquisite. Location was perfect for walking into the city centre.

Room decor, shower, high cielings
Tried to book an evening meal at the restaurant. Website just wouldn’t work at all for the booking. It was ok because the restaurant wasn’t busy. Despite this the food took ages ti come and we were on a tight schedule

Staff amazing. Room was ok but would of thought been better for 5 star. Taps were loose, shower smelt, bed and pillows v hard so much so my wife had to sleep on small couch. But staff were amazing

Honestly wanted to stay here for quite a while and is a delight to finally do so just before it becomes The Rex. The staff are more than just accommodating they're a delight, the hotel is spectacular and spotless, the room was comfortable, clean and perfect, honestly I'd happily live here if I won the lottery. I'll definitely be returning!

The concierge team and reception staff were very welcoming at check‑in. The room was acceptable overall, but the layout felt awkward, especially because you bumped into the wardrobe each time you entere
The superior double room felt small, and the sealed windows were disappointing. For a 5‑star hotel, the bar glasses seemed more like basic catering glasses, which did not meet expectations.

The hotel interior is stunning, the room was huge and spotless. The staff are all friendly and accomodating. The room service food was nice and the mini bar has a good selection of drinks and snacks.
