I booked a two-night stay at Hotel Gotham for Friday and Saturday. Although I couldn’t check in on Friday, I arrived on Saturday to use the second night. However, the hotel refused to accommodate me, claiming my room was resold because I was a "no-show" for the first night. Despite this, I was charged £800 for the full stay, even though I received no service for either night and was left ultiamtely 'homeless' for the other night that i had also paid for. Reselling ROOMS and keeping Customer money is NOT on.

The room was nice, the staff was very friendly.
The hotel had another function on at the same time, ordered food which was forgot about, they apologised then got the order wrong, once the food arrived had to wait for the side which in turn made the meal cold.

Great hotel with fab rooms. We've stayed here around 6 or 7 times now as it's my wife's favourite. The reception staff were lovely as always.
Both our visits to Bar Brass were disappointing compared to previous stays. We had to wait around 10 mins to be served both times and the guy who served us couldn't muster a smile. Drinks are overpriced but I've never minded paying before. I wasn't happy this time due to the poor service.

The hotel has a unique and very successful design language. A lot of thought has clearly been out into the theme of the hotel and this clearly shows down to the little details. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the beds are super comfortable and you're very much in the city centre. Definitely one you will remember.
For a suite in a high end hotel I expected the technology to be better. The TV was not a smart TV and was stuck on 1 Chanel, the remote would only turn the TV on or off. This was a shame as when we returned to the hotel in the evening we were planning on watching a movie. I expected a smart TV at the price point. The ceiling speakers were capped at a very low volume even when turned up via the controls and you cannot link your phone to play your own music, consequently you get a selection of premade playlists or limited radio channels. Beware of traffic! Due to the hotels location the traffic is absolutely awful. It took us 1 hour to travel the final mile to the hotel. The vallet parking was a needed rest upon arrival, although this is not included in the cost of the room, even with a suit. You have to pre-book and it's £40 a night. Overall the hotel is very nice and the staff are lovely, with such high competition in the area I feel some small improvements are needed. Better technology in rooms, parking included with suits.

Room a bit tired, needs maintenance. Shower leaked, bathroom radiator not working. Uncomfortable synthetic pillows, frayed bathrobes

Great location, the bathroom was gorgeous, breakfast was lovely, friendly staff, good variety of products to purchase within the hotel room.
Being super picky, but the pillows were too soft and the room was a little dusty, wardrobe needed a bit more space for clothes.

They took £100 deposit for anything used from the room / mini bar. I had a bottle of red wine. The hotel then charged me direct for this instead of taking it from the £100 deposit. Not acceptable
