Ive never seen a place so clean! The attention to detail and staff service is second to none.
Only issue - since i have to write one - was one of the staff int the hotel bar came off a little rude ut im sure that's down to a bad day. Not even enought to ruin my day

I booked a room for myself and my son at the end of July. On the day of our arrival, the hotel contacted me by email requesting full payment in advance, warning that otherwise, should there be any issue with the card, our reservation could be cancelled. I paid immediately. Imagine my surprise when, upon arriving at the hotel, I was informed at reception that there was a “technical issue” with our room and that they were unable to accommodate us. Apparently, ours was the only room of that category available, so there was no alternative they could offer. I asked when the hotel had become aware of this issue. The receptionist replied that they had known approximately two hours before our arrival but “were not able to inform me.” This explanation is simply unacceptable. Apparently, the hotel had no difficulty contacting me earlier that same day when they wanted to secure full payment for the room, yet somehow became unable to contact me once they knew that the room I had just paid for was no longer available. They had my email address, my telephone number and, of course, the possibility of contacting me through Booking.com. A message would have taken less than a minute and would at least have given me the opportunity to make alternative arrangements before arriving with my son. Taking full payment while already being aware — or shortly before becoming aware — that you may not be able to provide the accommodation, and then making no reasonable effort to inform the guest, demonstrates an astonishing lack of professionalism and basic consideration. Instead, we discovered the situation only after physically arriving at the hotel. For a hotel, handling unexpected technical problems is part of the business. Problems happen. What matters is how they are handled. In this case, the communication and treatment of the guest were completely unacceptable.

Very quiet and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and thank you to the ladies serving breakfast and good atmosphere in the roof top bar. We took our dog for this stay and this is a very pet friendly hotel which we greatly appreciated
Room layout had a big TV right in the middle but this was no big deal. Also elevators where a bit slow.

Hotel was lovely
The fact we had paid for a Deulux room for our annivesary that ended up being an accessible room due to a large wedding booking. We were given a 10% gesture of goodwill for the room switch, however we felt this impacted our stay and unsure of how much the accessible room would have been Vs the upgraded room we booked cost us.

What a brilliant hotel. Staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. It was my boyfriend’s 30th and they really did go the extra mile. Stunning rooftop area, perfect location and the room was stunning. We stayed in 502 for reference. We will be returning!
