Breakfast was fantastic , best pouched eggs I have ever had , I think the chef was called Marco, great guy lovely to chat too , top chef
Having to pay for bottle water with my breakfast after the price for the breakfast and my stay was over 1k for 4 nights with breakfast....don't drink tap water if I can help it

Disappointing
The property was nice and the had good aesthetics
Everything was going well, until the next day when I received my car from the valet.
There were footprints on the front passenger seat and footprints on the back also.
I did not expect that after paying £40 for a valet which they even charged me £45 for.
Deposit is a 100 and upon time for refund of the deposit they over charged.
Upon contacting the hotel, they are wiling to take 0 accountability for the way my property was treated.
Unable to call the reception alll after the stay as they don’t pick up and hang up the phone and try avoid my complain.

Hotel is very well finished in terms of standard of decoration etc, bed very comfortable and staff friendly.
Room was very small. I don't feel you should have to side shuffle around the bed in something described as a 'superior double' how small is the double?
Upon returning from our night we found staff had been in the room to turn down the bed, we didn't know this would happen (although I accept it is a service some hotels offer) and where initially alarmed that our possessions had been moved. We then found that when turning down the room the staff had managed to break the curtains, pulling them partially off the track, which allowed street light in to the room. There was no note apologising or explaining what had happened and we had to ring reception to find out what had happened and to ensure we wouldn't be blamed for the damage in the morning.
The breakfast menu offers no viable vegan option, so we had to make alternate arrangements.

Everything. I was in Room 109. Staff exceptionally polite and supportive. Facilities are the best. The experience exceeded expectations and I hope to return soon!

Great location , lovely room
Accessible bathroom , wet room shower was not suitable for my husband who has mobility problems as shower was too far away for him as it was too slippy for him getting back . Also club bar not accessible for wheelchair and as restaurant was not available on the Sunday and food was available only in bar meant we had to have room service

The Gotham undoubtedly has the potential to be a great hotel. The location is fantastic. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't get the experience that we expected from our stay here.
I was aware of the exterior renovations of the hotel, so I purposely booked an Inner Sanctum Suite, which has no windows and looks beautiful on the website. Upon entering the room, we both commented on how hot it was in there. The air conditioning wasn't working, and with the room having no windows, it was unbearable. I am not one to complain but there is no way I could have slept in such a hot room. I informed the reception and after checking the room and having an engineer look at the air conditioning, we were told that it could not be fixed and were provided with two small fans. I was happy with this but after being out of the room for a couole of hours we returned to the unbearable heat and the fans were of little use. I returned to the reception and we were moved to another room which did have windows and air conditioning. The room was lovely and appreciated the move. Unfortunately, we were awoken early in the morning with foul language coming from outside our window. I opened the curtains and was greeted by 2 men stood outside my window on the scaffolding. I shut my curtain and got back in bed but we couldn't relax, the noise and the foul language made us feel uncomfortable and didn't feel we could use the bathtub in the room as it is right next to the window.
It is such a shame because we rarely get the opportunity to spend a night away on our own and was looking forward to a stay at a high end hotel for the night.

Very limited sugar supply.
Honey restaurant so cold ruined dinner. Couldn’t wait to leave to warm up.

The room was amazing! We didn’t want to leave. It was the best room we’ve ever stayed in. (Inner suite with wonderwall) I liked all the other items you can buy in the room. I purchased the umbrella. Lovely design. The staff at reception were lovely too.
Breakfast choice was limited. No bacon or sausage baps. Could have been more for the price of breakfast. The honey restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. Dinner in the brass bar wasn’t ever good. The staff weren’t very professional. Bar man spoke to us quite abupt like he wasn’t taking his job seriously. They forgot to give us one of our starters. Left it on the side cold. They added extra items to our main that we didn’t order. Service was poor and they still added the extra 12% service fee. Other times I’ve came it as been exceptionally good.

The location was excellent as were the staff
We were woken at 8am by the workers renovating the exterior of the building, the aim of the stay was to have a nice relaxing start to the day which was not possible due to the noise. We also attended the rooftop bar and waited 15 minutes for seating and drinks but nobody came to us so we left.
